John was the new pastor coming on board at WestWay Church when we started working with him. He wanted the church to get up to date using online strategies. John understood how powerful of a tool the website would be for their church!
WestWay previously had a template, and we got the team to see the value and investment for the strategic custom work. Using social media and online tools to gain website visitors can be a great way to turn those into church visitors.
We’ve loved working with ReachRight. Personally, Ian was incredibly patient with me as I transitioned into a new role, asking questions and being a resource for me. He also made himself available early one morning with our church leadership team, talking about the importance of “being found” online- what mattered to non-believers and why. The initial set-up call was helpful as we identified the key areas of focus for what would become a great site for us, one that accurately communicated who we are. Magen, our designer, was excellent in letting us know what our role was regarding content and has been helpful with questions going forward. The site itself is easy to navigate and easy for us to update our content as needed. I highly recommend ReachRight to any church looking for a true partnership of people who know ministry.John Mulholland
Social Media is KEY!
John and his team began a Q&A series where they would film a video and answer questions submitted the previous Sunday. They originally had these videos available on their Vimeo account, but realized what a great tool these could be for their website! We added those videos to their portfolio page where they also have their online sermons.T
What a neat and unique idea to bring together social media and their website to connect more with their members and answer questions that people may otherwise not be comfortable asking their pastor or church leadership!!
Personal Stories/Testimonies
Using videos to share personal stores of transformations or testimonies is a great way for your website visitors to connect with the people of your church. What better way for someone to hear about what is going on on the inside than to be able to see and hear it themselves. If you have the means to put something like this together, DO IT!
Is your church website utilizing social media the best way it can? Do you have the ability to create videos to highlight stories of personal victories and use them to show website visitors how God is moving?
