Launched this week, is one of our new redesigns that we are proud to highlight. Church at Charlotte, located in North Carolina, has experienced church growth that has expanded their meeting locations to two sites. We wanted to highlight those two sites well on the Church at Charlotte website. The team there that we had the pleasure to work with made this project fun and creative.
The church was in a new season, looking for a new approach to their branding. They wanted a WordPress provider and really liked our strategic content oriented approach.
Church at Charlotte wanted to give their two locations their own ‘space’ on the site. Each location features the staff, groups and special events. We were able to use a lot of our special features to accomplish this and create a great looking, yet very user-friendly website approach.

We enjoyed using their branding since it already had good quality. We wanted to incorporate the brand on the site to keep a consistent, sharp look. Every client has a feel or look about them that they want to bring out, so we always like to see how we can do that with the site design and content.
Using background videos on your website can make a huge ‘WOW’ statement on your site’s homepage! These videos can give a visitor a glimpse into what your church is about and what your church ‘looks’ like within just a few seconds. Using these kinds of videos also makes the site much more personal to your specific church.
Since Church at Charlotte had a pretty extensive archive of sermons that they wanted to have available on their new site, we wanted to feature those in a Grid. Any visitor or member can go in at any time to the sermons archive and search by sermon series or speaker and listen online to a message at their convenience. We were happy with the results of the grid and how easy it is for someone to filter through.
A lot of churches these days are going with a multi-campus approach. The key is how to highlight these well online. The days of needing a whole website for each campus or ministry are mostly over. It is important now to have a very simple, and mobile first approach. Due to this concept, on the Church at Charlotte website, we designed two campus pages that consist of a welcome video, key staff and ministry offerings.
