Coastal Community Church

Coastal Community Church is a nondenominational church in Parkland, Florida, founded in September 2009 by lead pastor T.J. McCormick and his wife Shayla. It started as a portable church meeting at Monarch High School in Coconut Creek, built around a simple dream of planting a church that was all about community. That commitment was tested publicly when the church served Parkland through the aftermath of the Stoneman Douglas tragedy. Today Coastal runs close to 4,000 in attendance across multiple locations, adding a West Boca campus in August 2025.

Coastal's combined digital audience is 25,917 followers across three platforms. Instagram leads at 14,037 followers on @coastalchurch, more than half the total. YouTube holds 6,680 subscribers and grew 33.87 percent over the past year, with an upload on June 3, 2026. Facebook adds 5,200 followers. There is no tracked TikTok presence.

Coastal holds the final spot in the Church Influence 100, and it earned it on movement, not mass. The reach score of 10.6 is modest, but a velocity score of 64.6 and breadth of 82.5 put it ahead of plenty of churches with triple its audience. One-third annual YouTube growth from a church simultaneously opening new campuses suggests the digital and physical expansion are feeding each other.
