About the Church Influence 100
The Church Influence 100 is the annual ranking of the most influential churches online, published by REACHRIGHT, a church marketing agency serving more than 800 churches. The 2026 edition ranks churches from 15 countries with a combined audience of 144M followers across YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
Unlike attendance-based lists such as the Outreach 100, the Church Influence 100 measures digital influence: how large a church's online audience is, how fast it is growing, and how many platforms it actively maintains. Each church receives an Influence Score from 0 to 100, weighted 50 percent reach, 30 percent velocity, and 20 percent breadth. Only official church-operated accounts count toward a score. Pastors' personal accounts are excluded, and no church can pay for placement. The complete formula, eligibility rules, and data sources are published on the methodology page.
In the 2026 edition, Elevation Church ranks first with a combined audience of roughly 29 million followers. The top 10 churches hold 61 percent of all audience on the list, and only 30 of the 100 maintain an official TikTok presence. The Church Influence 100 is an annual, data-driven ranking of the most influential churches online, published by REACHRIGHT. Each church receives an Influence Score from 0 to 100 based on its audience reach, growth velocity, and platform breadth across YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
How are churches ranked?
Each church's Influence Score combines three weighted pillars: Reach (50%), the combined follower audience across platforms; Velocity (30%), how fast that audience is growing; and Breadth (20%), how many platforms the church maintains an active presence on. Do pastors' personal accounts count toward a church's score?
No. The index measures churches, not personalities. Official church-operated accounts count, including worship and youth brand accounts (Elevation Worship counts toward Elevation Church), but pastors' personal accounts do not.
Can a church pay to be on the list?
Never. There is no paid placement of any kind. Rankings are computed from public platform data using the published methodology.
