Cypress Meadows hired REACHRIGHT to manage its grant in February of 2020. They were kind enough to share some of their Google Grant results with us.
Cypress Meadows is an Evangelical church that averages about 450 in worship attendance out of Clearwater, FL. When they came on board they had been running the grant for 18 months with varying results.
Google Grant Results Before REACHRIGHT
Initially, they tried to manage the grant on their own. Like most churches, they had a hard time keeping the grant from being flagged for non-compliance. There are very specific criteria that ad accounts must meet at all times in order to remain eligible for the Google Grant. When the account was active, they were only able to spend an average of $50/month of the $10,000 available to the church.
They decided that they wanted to get more out of their grant so they hired a company to help them. The company charged them over $500/month to manage their account and they were able to improve their results. In a typical month, they were able to spend more of the available grant money, but they knew it was still a fraction of what was possible. It just didn’t make sense to sense to spend $500/month when they were only getting a little over $500 in free advertising.

Impressions (The number of times your ad is displayed) shot up as well. In May of 2020 over 65,000 people saw an ad for the church.
For the last three months, the church has used nearly all of the $10,000 Google Grant. There best month before was less than $3000.
Notice that most of the ads are displayed on Sunday Morning right before church. These are reaching people looking for a church home!
The majority of their traffic is from mobile devices. The ads are reaching people right where they are.
