In her maiden bliss
Worshiped the beloved
With a kiss

If I were a shepherd
I would give a lamb”

No crib for a bed
The little Lord Jesus

Look down where He lay
The little Lord Jesus
Asleep on the hay”

From our fears and sins release us,
Let us find our rest in Thee.”

It is the night of our dear Savior’s birth
Long lay the world in sin and error pining
‘Til He appears and the soul felt its worth”

Let loving hearts enthrone him”
