Community Bible Church

Community Bible Church is a nondenominational megachurch in San Antonio, Texas. Robert Emmitt founded it on May 26, 1990, with the first services held in a hotel conference room. Ed Newton, a former itinerant evangelist out of Orlando, became lead pastor in 2016 when Emmitt stepped back after 25 years. The church reports more than 27,000 people attending its San Antonio campus and online services that reach viewers in over 150 countries.

CBC ranks 57th with an influence score of 57.5 and 261,459 combined followers. Instagram is the anchor at 99,859 on the verified cbcsocial account, just shy of six figures. Facebook adds 91,000 and YouTube sits at 70,600 subscribers on @cbcsocial. The church maintains three of the four major platforms, with no TikTok, for a breadth score of 82.5.
