That is deliberate. A pastor adding a hundred thousand subscribers a year is doing something a larger, flat account is not. Reach is graded on a curve for the same reason. Audiences on this list run from 104K to 90.42M, and without the curve one outlier would flatten everyone else into a rounding error.

One-year YouTube subscriber growth, ranked as a percentile against the rest of the index. Measured for 75 of the 100. The rest receive a neutral weighting.
Breadth
Whether the pastor maintains a verified official presence on all four platforms or only one. Consistency counts.
Reach is stewardship. It gets built on purpose.

About the Pastor Influence 100
The Pastor Influence 100 is published by REACHRIGHT, a church marketing agency serving more than 800 churches. The 2026 edition ranks 100 pastors from 22 countries with a combined personal audience of 348M followers across YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook. 44 of the 100 lead churches in the United States.
Eligibility is a bright line. A person qualifies only while currently serving as the lead, senior, co-lead, or church-wide teaching pastor of a local church. A multisite church counts once. Campus pastors do not qualify. Itinerant evangelists and speakers without a congregation, worship leaders, media ministry heads, retirees, and denominational officials are excluded. Only personal accounts count, and every account is verified against an official surface such as a church staff page or the pastor's own site. Fan pages and clip channels never count. Church accounts belong to the Church Influence 100.
This index publishes no net worth data and no salary data. It does not rank pastors by attendance, by theology, or by our opinion of their preaching. It measures audience size, audience growth, and platform breadth, and it says so on every page. A large audience is a large responsibility. Every pastor on this list answers for what they do with the reach they have been given, and so do we for how we report it. What is the Pastor Influence 100?
The Pastor Influence 100 is REACHRIGHT's ranking of the 100 pastors with the largest measured personal audience online. Every person on the list currently serves as the lead, senior, co-lead, or church-wide teaching pastor of a local church. Each receives an Influence Score from 0 to 100 built from personal audience reach, growth velocity, and platform breadth across YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
How is a pastor's Influence Score calculated?
Three weighted pillars. Reach counts for 50 percent and measures the combined personal audience across the four platforms. Velocity counts for 30 percent and measures one-year YouTube subscriber growth against everyone else on the list. Breadth counts for 20 percent and measures how many of the four platforms the pastor maintains an official personal presence on. Scores are normalized so the top score is 100. Why does this index count personal accounts instead of church accounts?
Because it measures people, not institutions. A pastor's personal audience follows the pastor. Church accounts, worship brands, and campus accounts belong to the church, and those are scored in the Church Influence 100. Only accounts the pastor operates under his or her own name count here, and every account is verified against an official surface such as a church staff page or the pastor's own site.
Why is a well-known pastor missing from the list?
Usually one of three reasons. The person no longer holds a lead, senior, co-lead, or church-wide teaching role at a local church, which is the eligibility bright line. Or the audience sits on a ministry or organization account rather than a personal one. Or the measured personal audience simply did not reach the top 100. Itinerant speakers without a congregation, worship leaders, media ministry heads, retired pastors, and denominational officials are not eligible.
Can a pastor pay to be on this list?
No. There is no paid placement, no sponsorship, and no way to buy a rank or remove a rival. Every score is computed from public platform data using the published formula.
Do you rank pastors by salary, net worth, or church size?
Never. This index publishes no net worth figures and no salary figures, and it does not rank by attendance. It measures audience reach and growth on public platforms. Nothing else.
How often is the index updated?
Annually. The 2026 edition is a frozen snapshot of the data as it stood on August 15, 2026, so a citation made a year from now still points at the same numbers. Roles change, and the snapshot date is how we handle that fairly.
How do I report a correction?
