Born February 13, 1941, in Toledo, Ohio, he began his pastoral career in 1969 at Blackhawk Baptist Church in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
In 1982, Jeremiah launched Turning Point Ministries, which began as a radio program and now airs on more than 2,200 stations worldwide; its television broadcast went nationwide in 2000 and reaches audiences in nearly 200 million homes each week. He has written more than 70 books.
