About Dag Heward-Mills
Dag Heward-Mills leads First Love Church, part of the Lighthouse movement he founded in Accra, Ghana, in 1985.
Born May 14, 1963, in London to a Ghanaian father and Swiss mother, Heward-Mills started the ministry as a medical student at the University of Ghana under the name Korle-Bu Christian Centre, renaming it Lighthouse Chapel International in 1987. He was ordained in 1990 at Victory Church in London and consecrated a bishop in 1996 by the International Ministerial Council of Great Britain. He now serves as founder and presiding bishop of the United Denominations Originating from the Lighthouse Group of Churches, a network that has planted more than 3,000 churches across 80 countries and trained over 1,980 pastors. He also founded the Anagkazo Bible and Ministry Training Center in Mampong, Ghana, and has authored dozens of books on ministry and leadership.
