Greg Laurie is senior pastor of Harvest Christian Fellowship in Riverside, California. Born December 10, 1952, in Long Beach, he came to faith at age 17 under the ministry of evangelist Lonnie Frisbee and was mentored by Calvary Chapel founder Chuck Smith.
Laurie founded Harvest Christian Fellowship in 1972 at age 19, starting with a Bible study of 30 people during the Jesus Movement. He launched Harvest Crusades in 1990; the ministry has since held 125 crusades across the United States, Canada, New Zealand, and Australia, drawing more than 6.5 million in total attendance. He has written more than 70 books, including "Jesus Revolution" and "Billy Graham: The Man I Knew." His early life inspired the 2023 Lionsgate film "Jesus Revolution."
