Osiel Gomes is the pastor president of Assembleia de Deus Tirirical in São Luís, Maranhão, Brazil, and serves as the third president of the Convenção Estadual das Assembleias de Deus no Maranhão, known as CEADEMA.
Gomes holds degrees in Theology, Philosophy, Law, and Pedagogy and is pursuing doctoral studies in Philosophy at UNISINOS and in Theology at the Escola Superior de Teologia. He served 16 years as co-pastor of the Assembleia de Deus in Coroatá, Maranhão, and spent 10 years as director of Faculdade Evangélica do Meio Norte. He has written more than 20 books on theology, the Bible, family, and behavior, published by CPAD, and serves as a commentator for CPAD's adult Bible lesson magazines.
