Kimaro was the first pastor within the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Tanzania to move services online, launching YouTube broadcasts that carried the parish's teaching beyond its building. He has written two books, "Kutoka Ndoto Mpaka Hatima" ("From Dreams to Destiny") and "Kujitunza Nafsi" ("Caring for the Soul").
