About Josephat Gwajima
Josephat Gwajima is founder, senior pastor, and bishop of Glory of Christ Tanzania Church, known in Swahili as Nyumba ya Ufufuo na Uzima ("The House of Resurrection and Life"), based in Dar es Salaam. He founded the church in 1994.
Gwajima was born December 19, 1970, in the Mwanza region of Tanzania. He graduated with honors from the East African Pastoral Theological School in Nairobi, Kenya, in 1994, and later earned a master's degree in Christian missions from the Japan Bible Institute. He now oversees more than 400 churches in Tanzania and abroad through Ufufuo na Uzima Ministries, and also serves as a member of the Tanzanian parliament.
