Roberts launched his first church, then called The Artist Resource Center, in 2002; it was later renamed One Church International. After marrying Sarah Jakes in 2014, the couple co-pastored that congregation until it merged into the Potter's House network as ONE, A Potter's House Church, with campuses in Los Angeles and Denver. He is the author of Purpose Awakening, Wholeness, and Balance, and founded the leadership platform Called Leaders.
