Savchuk was born in Ukraine on January 31, 1991, and moved to the United States with his family at age 13. He began serving as a youth leader at 16 within a Tri-Cities, Washington church founded in 2001 by Pastor Vasiliy and Lyubov Parkhotyuk. Over the following 14 years he built that youth ministry into the church now known as Hungry Generation. He married his wife, Lana, on August 21, 2010, and the two now lead the church together.
