8 Best Church Marketing Agencies (2026, Honest Review)

I run a church marketing agency, so I know this space from the inside. Here are the 8 best church marketing agencies in 2026, with honest pricing, strengths, and who each one actually fits.

Best church marketing agencies compared, with honest pricing and strengths

A church marketing agency handles the outreach work most churches can’t staff internally: the website, search visibility, advertising, and social media that decide whether new people find you. The right one depends on what you actually need. Some of these agencies are done-for-you operators, one is really a coaching program, and two serve the broader Christian market more than the local church.

Full disclosure up front: I founded REACHRIGHT in 2016, so I compete with some of the companies on this list. I’m handling that the same way I handle our website builder and Ad Grant agency reviews: real strengths, real carve-outs, and I’ll tell you plainly when someone else is the better fit. One thing I’ll flag now because it shaped this list: of the eight options below, almost nobody publishes their pricing. You’ll see “custom quote” a lot. We publish every price on our site, and I think you should ask any agency why they don’t.

The Short Answer

1 REACHRIGHT Published: $97-$997/mo by service Best overall · Done-for-you websites, search, grants, and social for churches of 200+
2 Missional Marketing Mostly custom · one product at $199/mo Google Ads depth at scale; large churches with big ad budgets
3 Church Fuel Published tiers (currently inconsistent) Coaching, courses, and templates for the DIY church
4 Luminate Marketing Custom quote (budgets from ~$2,000/mo) Full creative shop: branding, video, and design beyond digital ads
5 Fearless Influence Custom quote Smaller engagements; churches, nonprofits, and Christian businesses
6 Parable Group Custom quote Christian brands, publishers, and ministries; agency-of-record work since 1985
7 FrontGate Media Custom quote Media buying and PR to the broader Christian audience; launches and events
8 In-house / DIY Free (your time) Churches under 200 with a capable volunteer and simple needs

How I Judged This List

Four questions, applied to every agency:

  1. Do they know churches? Marketing a church is not marketing a business. The audience, the language, the seasons, and the goal (people meeting Jesus, not leads in a funnel) are all different. Generalist agencies get this wrong constantly.
  2. Is the work done for you or taught to you? Both models are legitimate. They are not interchangeable, and agencies blur the line in their sales copy.
  3. Do they publish pricing? You can’t budget around “book a call.” Transparency here usually predicts transparency everywhere else.
  4. What do they publish about results? Specific numbers beat adjectives. I’ve noted what each agency claims on its own site, and I have not repeated anything I couldn’t find published.

The 8 Best Church Marketing Agencies, Ranked

1. REACHRIGHT (Best Overall)

Yes, ranking your own agency first is convenient. Here’s the case, and then the carve-outs.

REACHRIGHT is a done-for-you church marketing agency: websites from $97/month, Google Ad Grant management at $397/month, local SEO plus AI search visibility at $297/month, and social media management from $497/month. Every price is on the website. Since 2016 we’ve served 800+ churches across 47 states, we hold an 89% client retention rate, and we’ve managed $14.24M+ in Google Ad Grants with a 98% compliance rate.

The thing I’d actually sell you on is focus. We only serve churches and faith-based ministries, so the person writing your ad copy already knows what a “next steps class” is and why Easter matters more than Black Friday.

Who shouldn’t pick us: churches under 200 on a tight budget (start with entry 8 and our free tools), churches that want a big-production video and branding shop (see Luminate), and churches that want to learn to do it themselves (see Church Fuel).

2. Missional Marketing

The biggest church-only digital agency on this list. Founded in 2008, headquartered in Scottsdale, Arizona, with a team of 70+ across four countries. They publish serious scale numbers: 500+ churches served and $27M+ in Google ad spend managed as of their 2023 reporting, and they hold Google Premier Partner status.

Their depth is Google: Grants, paid search, YouTube, and display, plus church websites and SEO. Pricing is mostly custom quote; the exception is their Google Essentials product at $199/month per church ($149 for additional campuses).

Best for: larger churches that want maximum Google advertising firepower and don’t mind a quote-based sales process.

3. Church Fuel

Church Fuel is on every “church marketing agency” list, and most of those lists miss what it actually is: a coaching and resources company, not a done-for-you agency. You get courses, templates, live coaching, and software tools, built by a team they describe as 40+ pastors and specialists. If your church has a staff member or volunteer with time to execute, that model can be a genuinely good value.

One honest caution: as of August 2026 their site shows two different pricing structures on two different pages (membership tiers from $99/month on one, a $3,000 setup plus $599/month bundle on another). Ask which one is real before you sign.

Best for: churches that want to build in-house marketing muscle with expert guidance rather than hand the work to someone else.

4. Luminate Marketing

The closest thing on this list to a full-service creative agency. Branding, messaging, graphic design, video production, websites, ads, email, and social, for churches and nonprofits both. They publish strong portfolio numbers: 500+ clients, $50M+ raised for the nonprofits they serve, and a shelf of industry awards.

Pricing is custom quote. Their own contact form starts budget conversations around $2,000-$3,500 per month, so calibrate expectations accordingly.

Best for: churches heading into a rebrand, a capital campaign, or a season where design and video quality matter as much as digital reach.

5. Fearless Influence

A smaller shop serving churches, nonprofits, and Christian businesses with websites, SEO, social management, and Google Ads. Two things I respect: they publish specific, dated case results (traffic lifts for named clients in their first 30 days) instead of vague success language, and their sales process is deliberately low-pressure.

No published pricing, and the three-audience focus means churches share the roster with Christian entrepreneurs.

Best for: churches that want a boutique relationship and fast, measurable early wins on search and ads.

6. Parable Group

The elder statesman: serving the Christian market since 1985 from San Luis Obispo, California. Parable works with Christian brands, retailers, publishers, authors, and ministries, with digital campaigns, media buying, email, and analytics. Their 8.5-year average employee tenure says something real about the organization.

They are not a local-church specialist, and that matters. Their strength is moving Christian audiences at market scale, not filling seats at your 10am service.

Best for: ministries, publishers, and Christian organizations that need an experienced agency of record for the broader faith market.

7. FrontGate Media

FrontGate has spent 25 years (founded 2001, 7,500+ campaigns) connecting brands to the Christian and family audience through media buying, PR, and their own network of faith-based sites and email lists. If you’re launching a book, film, album, or national event to a Christian audience, they own distribution most agencies can’t touch.

For a single local church trying to reach its own city, that’s the wrong tool, and I don’t think FrontGate would tell you otherwise.

Best for: national launches and campaigns aimed at the Christian audience as a whole.

8. Do It In-House (The Honest Free Option)

If your church is under 200 and budget is the constraint, don’t hire any of us yet. A capable volunteer with five hours a week can cover the fundamentals: claim and complete your Google Business Profile, collect Google reviews, post consistently on one social platform, and keep your website’s service times and address accurate.

Our free tools were built for exactly this stage: the Churches Near Me Test, the church salary calculator, visitor follow-up templates, and 77 AI prompts for pastors. Use them, grow, and call an agency when the workload outgrows the volunteer.

Best for: smaller churches with more willing hands than budget.

Who Shouldn’t Pick REACHRIGHT

Three carve-outs, stated plainly:

  1. You want a coach, not a contractor. Church Fuel’s model exists for a reason. If the goal is building your own team’s skills, buy training, not management.
  2. You need broadcast-quality video and a full rebrand. We do branding and social video, but a production-heavy creative project belongs with a shop like Luminate.
  3. You’re marketing to the Christian market, not a congregation. Publishers, national ministries, and faith brands should look at Parable or FrontGate.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does a church marketing agency cost?

For done-for-you work, published and quoted prices in this space generally run from about $100/month for a single service (like a managed website) to $2,000-$3,500+/month for full-service creative engagements. REACHRIGHT’s published range is $97-$997/month depending on the service. Most agencies quote custom prices, so get the scope in writing: what’s included monthly, what costs extra, and what happens if you cancel.

Should we hire an agency or a staff member?

A full-time communications hire typically costs more than an agency covering the same ground, and one person rarely carries design, search, ads, and video equally well. The crossover point is usually volume: when your church generates enough weekly content and internal requests to fill a real job, hire. Until then, an agency (or a part-time coordinator who manages an agency) covers more skills for less money.

Do general marketing agencies work for churches?

Sometimes, but the failure mode is predictable: corporate-sounding ads, keywords nobody in a church context searches, and campaigns that treat Easter like a product launch. Church marketing has its own language, calendar, and goal. An agency that serves churches every day doesn’t need those things explained, and that shows up in the work faster than any portfolio can.

What should the first 90 days with an agency look like?

Weeks 1-2: access and audit (website, Google Business Profile, ad accounts, analytics). Weeks 3-6: foundations fixed and campaigns launched. By day 90 you should see measurable movement: search impressions, website visits, ad results, and at least one report you actually understand. If 90 days pass and the agency can’t show you numbers, that’s your answer.

How do I evaluate a church marketing agency before signing?

Ask four questions. Do you publish your pricing, and if not, why? Who exactly will work on our account? What results do you report monthly, and can we see a sample report? And what’s the cancellation policy? Then check their own marketing: an agency that can’t rank, design, or write for itself won’t do it for you.
